Terms and Conditions

Platform

The LendBridge website, applications, and all associated services.

Borrower

Any individual who applies for or receives a loan through a Lender on the Platform.

Lender

Any NAMFISA-licensed microlending institution that subscribes to use the Platform.

User

Any person who accesses or uses the Platform, including Borrowers, Lenders, and their authorised staff.

NAMFISA

Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority.

Eligibility

To use the Platform as a Borrower, you must be at least 18 years of age, be a Namibian citizen or permanent resident, have a valid Namibian ID document, have a valid bank account in your name, and have verifiable employment or income source.

Loan Applications

When you submit a loan application, you authorise the selected Lender to process your application, verify your information, and conduct credit assessments. All information provided must be accurate, complete, and truthful. Providing false information may result in application rejection and legal consequences. Submitting an application does not guarantee loan approval.

Loan Terms and Repayment

If approved, the specific terms of your loan will be set by the Lender and documented in a separate Loan Agreement. LendBridge is not a party to this agreement. Most loans operate on a payday model where repayments are due on your designated monthly pay day.

No Fees to Borrowers

LendBridge does not charge Borrowers any fees for using the Platform, browsing lenders, using the loan calculator, or submitting applications. Any fees associated with your loan will be disclosed by the Lender before you accept.

Your Responsibilities

As a Borrower, you agree to keep your contact and banking details up to date, notify the Lender of changes to your employment or financial situation, make all repayments on time, respond promptly to Lender communications, and not use the Platform for fraudulent purposes.

Eligibility and Registration

To subscribe as a Lender, you must hold a valid NAMFISA microlending license, be registered as a legal entity in Namibia, provide accurate registration details including your license number, designate authorised administrators, and agree to subscription terms.

Subscription and Payment

Access is provided on a subscription basis with fees payable monthly in advance. Failure to maintain payment may result in suspension or termination. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may modify pricing with 30 days written notice.

Your Responsibilities

As a Lender, you agree to maintain valid NAMFISA licensing and comply with all applicable laws, conduct proper affordability assessments and avoid predatory lending, ensure data accuracy, protect borrower information, maintain account security, and treat borrowers fairly per the NAMFISA Fair Practice Code.

Data Isolation and Access

The Platform operates with strict data isolation. You may only access data related to your own operations. Borrower profiles may be shared for application purposes, but loan details remain confidential to each Lender. Attempting to access another Lender's data is prohibited and may result in termination.

Use Restrictions

Lenders may not share credentials with unauthorised persons, reverse engineer the Platform, use it for non-legitimate purposes, upload malicious code, or export bulk data without authorisation.

Intellectual Property

All Platform content is the property of LendBridge or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Users may not copy, modify, or distribute without permission.

Limitation of Liability

LendBridge is not liable for lending decisions made by Lenders or loan agreement terms. We are not responsible for borrower default or Lender insolvency. Our liability shall not exceed subscription fees paid in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify LendBridge from claims arising from your violation of these Terms, Platform use, or breach of law.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend access for maintenance or security reasons.

Termination

Users may stop using the Platform at any time. Lenders may cancel with 30 days notice. We may suspend or terminate access for Terms violation, non-payment, fraud, or regulatory reasons.

Amendments

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Namibian law. Disputes are subject to Namibian courts. Parties agree to attempt resolution through good faith negotiation before legal proceedings.
