Information You Provide

We collect information you voluntarily provide, including personal identification (full name, Namibian ID number, date of birth, gender, marital status), contact information (physical address, email, telephone numbers), employment details (employer, occupation, income, pay dates), financial information (bank account details, monthly expenses, existing debt), and supporting documents (ID copies, proof of residence, bank statements, payslips).

Information Collected Automatically

When you access our Platform, we automatically collect device information (IP address, browser type, operating system), usage data (pages visited, time spent, navigation paths), and use cookies for authentication and analytics.

We use your information for platform operations and facilitating loan applications, sharing your application with your selected lender for credit assessment, meeting NAMFISA reporting requirements and legal obligations, sending important notifications about your account or loans, detecting and preventing fraud and security threats, and enhancing platform functionality and user experience.

We share your information only in limited circumstances: with the lender you select to process your loan application, when required by law or regulatory authority such as NAMFISA, with service providers who assist in platform operations under strict confidentiality agreements, and when you have explicitly authorised us to share specific information.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

We implement comprehensive security measures including Comodo EV SSL encryption for all data transmission, secure authentication with password hashing and session management, strict multi-tenant architecture ensuring each lender can only access their own data, role-based access controls, regular security assessments and vulnerability testing, and enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with firewalls and 24/7 monitoring.

Data Retention

We retain data for as long as necessary to provide services and comply with legal obligations. Loan-related records are retained for a minimum of 5 years after loan closure as required by NAMFISA. After the retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

You have the right to access and request a copy of your personal data, request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data, request deletion of your data subject to legal retention requirements, and request your data in a portable format.

Our Platform uses cookies to maintain your session and authentication status, remember your preferences, and analyse usage to improve our services. You can control cookie settings through your browser, though disabling certain cookies may affect functionality.

Our Platform is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
